Just finished this D&D commission on an elven maiden, an adventurer and a warrior. I hope you like it. Its not quite how I envision elves but the client had specific description and the client is always right (or at least some times )
She is small and lithe and deadly. That's how many people imagine elves. Do you see elves as more tall and stern looking after Tolkien's or more like the Fae of Ireland and Wales?
Honestly, the first time I read "The Hobbit", my image of elves was pretty much the nordic one: small, mischievous creatures, born out of pure magic. I do ended up seeing them more like the elves of Tolkie just because the legends of my own country sees them pretty much the same. Although, weirdly, in my country, all the Fae are women. No men to speak about.
