Again one of my black and white, d&d related commission. This time a character, a bard and a diplomat, freshly out of the bath. As you can see the baths back then came with three lascivious young women :D I would have really loved the baths back then :P

Oh, of course- I commission artists all the time. Believe me, a lot can't translate what you want. Something about this, though, the way you did it, it just seems like whatever the client wanted, you MUST have done it justice. Your ability to portray what you've done here IS something to take a little credit for, too. ;)

Not more than I deserve. Plus, I had fun doing it myself. Not often I get commissioned for scenes so I try to have as much fun as I can with them. :)

A very strong scene, the cross hatching over the brick wall and the reflective surface of the water are a nice touch.

I tried to give the sensation of texture and the rough bricks vs the smooth water create a nice contrast keeping things well defined.

Holy cross-hatching! Awesome! I love cross-hatching. You gave this just the right amount of details to set the scene but it doesn't over take the hero and his... fans. ;)

That was the idea :) I usually get too lost in detailing an image and give attention to all things that focus gets lost. With this one I tried my best to keep the focus on my main character. The nude girls can be distracting, sure, but eventually the eye is drawn to the bard :D
