Malulani is a stranger d&d character. She is a ranger but she's part elvish. The strange part is that she doesn't know it although she already lived quite long and she didn't age much. This is my second ranger in a very short while. The coincidence made it that Its also a woman and has a wolf companion (which you can see in the distance).

Its so easy to loose an arrow in the woods. So bright colors help recovering them.

Make your friend buy/make any arrows they use. After the first dozen they will be a lot more careful

tracking where missed hits land for each shot is vary important in the woods where I go.

Seasonal arrows that best contrast it's specific foliage colors are vary helpful. Winter is white/brown foliage while fall are yellows and summer is green, find their opposites and pick your favorite color. The feathers and back 6 inches will be the most visible when buried, so make sure if you use stripes that part is painted appropriately.

Good advices. I bought myself a jig to make my own arrows but mostly for the fun of the experience because I have a compound bow. Not exactly the tool on which to use wood arrows.
