Psidias Antiochi - color by MatesLaurentiu Psidias Antiochi - color by MatesLaurentiu
You might know the pencil version of this d&d character from my gallery. If not, you can take a look and see it here:

The client decided to upgrade it to a color version and this is how it ended.

Great art! It seems alive. I don't know who is Psidias, but when I see this picture, I think I like him. I think that image could be great for any  paladin in my beloved Baldur's Gate. Thanks!

Psidias is a paladin. I think his order is something like "The Order of the Drunken Rooster" or something along those lines. He's the kind of guy that goes into a tavern and makes friends easily (you can see in his cup people rising cups in the unseen part of the tavern). I'm glad you like it and thank you for the kind words. :)

Very nice! I like the cloth and the armour. Some of the soft colours you have in the reflection is wonderful. The colour of the sheild is nice and doesn't upset the overall feel.

I want a fancy mug like his!

I think colors can be better but this is as better I can go for now with no reference and going just on my not so good color sens. I'm glad you like it 'tho, it feels good when things go just about right in an image and people appreciate it :)

Thank you :) I aged him a bit here, gave him a 5 o'clock shadow - but what do you expect after a day and a night of party with your buddies? :D

You outdid yourself with this one, the detail and the colouring is spot on.

Thanks. Took me more than usual because I have to cover with shading a lot of pencil (which has a way different texture and feel) but I left some of the pencil show (like on the round windows and the bricks). I felt kind of bad to cover it all :)

I color when I get the chance. but got a lot of stuff to do, and stuff I want to do. This is why it has taken me so long to get to coloring. Most times if II color I am putting something else off. :s

Wow, that armor is great, super shiny and realistic. Nice environment too, very fitting.

I did focused more on the armor since it was the character I wanted to be the focus of the image. But I use some of the reflecting surfaces to show parts of the image you don't really see. For example, if you look closely, you can see other people cheering and rising cups in the reflections of his mug :D
