I know what you would want to change - the bricks :D Otherwise I really like the concept  It reminds me song [link] This paladin looks really immortal, such a hero hidden under his cloak :) You've put a lot of work into the light reflections here - I enjoy it especially on the blade. His armor is tremendously detailed, even the rings of chainmaille connected and cloth has pattern and fraying threads.
The orcs in the background make great atmosphere and are positioned greatly as well as the demonic face, which gives very scary impression btw :P

Thank you for the link to the music, that was really awesome. And yes, those bricks are really blurry, I would rework them (and the ground) gladly if only the client would let me know the book its still going to be published (still isn't after many years now). I might even fix the image up just for the sake of it. I was still learning to paint when I did this so the fix would be pretty easy now. :)

I wanted to ask about the book name :) Pity it wasn't published yet.. its cover would look very promising about the content :aww:
Yes, the bricks, ground and part of cloak is too blurred, but the rest is wonderful and very precisely painted, so don't say you were just learning.. you were already perfect

The name of the book was to be "Tales of Tangilis - The Past" and was the first book in a trilogy. And I really don't remember why I hurried on the bricks. I surely had a reason. :P
